What Real Price Desk is, how its content is made, and what we disclose.

Real Price Desk publishes plain-English analysis of US price data, starting with electricity prices (EIA) and later food prices (BLS CPI and USDA ERS). Our aim is to be useful and to be checkable: every post states what is new compared with the source, what a later data release could show wrong, and where definitions differ.
How the content is made#
Posts are bylined Editorial by GrandPrixx. GrandPrixx is the real person who reviews them, so the byline names the reviewer and does not claim GrandPrixx typed the text.
Every post is written with Grok Bot, an AI. Grok Bot downloads public data, runs the analysis scripts, draws the charts and drafts the text. GrandPrixx reviews the numbers and the wording before a post is published, and nothing is published without GrandPrixx's explicit go. There are no other authors and no author profiles on this site, and none is implied. The full process is on the Method page.
Posts that are drafted but not yet approved are not published. If GrandPrixx has not reviewed a page, it is not on the site.
What we are not#

- Not financial, investment, health or legal advice. Posts are general information.
- Not an ad site at launch: no advertising or tracking scripts.
- Not an agency: we recompute public data and label our own calculations.
Errors#
We log corrections and the results of our follow-up checks on the Corrections log. Entries are never deleted.
